Brief description of who you are/what you do outside the hub:

I am an assistant financial adviser. Passionate about youth development and talent development.

How long have you been a hub member? :

About 9 months.

Why did you join the hub? :

I joined Tshwane Hub because it was the next level to my commitment of engaging and impacting my immediate community. Being in the same space with ambitious change makers makes you realise that you definitely are making a change in the world.

What is your vision for South Africa? :

Over the years I have learnt that with a rich history, there is bound to be two extremes. Inequality, Employment, Education, Health care, Political stability, these are but a few areas we have seen extremes in. To progress as a country, we need to learn to accept our rich history, and start mending it together. It’s not just the job of the politicians, or the business sector, but us as individuals from the most remote area to the most affluent area to make that little contribution to progressing our country in the right direction, be it you a teacher or a farmer or even unemployed, let us make that little contribution. We all have a part to play to make South Africa a prosperous country in its wholeness.

Words to live by:

In three words I can sum up everything that I’ve learned about life: “It goes on.”

Accepting life for what it is, and letting it lead you will always bring you to a destination that you yourself could have never envisioned.

Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.
